Atwood Lake Campground is a huge campground with over 500 sites, located in a beautiful area of eastern Ohio. It is designed for mostly RV camping, but there are plenty of tent sites available. The campground features large concrete RV sites with full hookup, a nice beach area with toys for kids and adults, and a fire tower that is fun to climb. There is a large bathhouse with two sets of mens and womens restrooms and shower facilities along with a laundry area. Adjoining the bathhouse area is a beautiful pavilion and children’s playground, all of which overlooks Atwood Lake. The campground also offers a snack shop, a full restaurant at the marina, and a nearby historic Zoar Village. On weekends, there is often a local band performing on the camp site, and first responder days with a chopper and plenty of squad vehicles. The campground is in excellent condition and the facilities are clean and comfortable.
