There are many amenities here including docks, playgrounds, basketball and tennis, plus two stores. The park is clean and well-maintained, and the bathhouses are spacious. Despite losing power due to a storm, the experience was good.

The park also features Landzedge Water Park, swimming beach, boating, hunting, fishing, geocaching, and dining. The park hosts Alive Music Festival in July and Fall Festival in October. Atwood Lake Park is a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature with views that simply can't be beaten.
