This campground is an older park located in a tree-covered area. It is full of long-term, permanent sites and is in need of a good cleaning. The staff is courteous, although not particularly friendly. The sites have very little gravel, making it difficult to get campers out after the weekend. The park is located near a gravel pit, which can be noisy from 6:30am to 4:30pm. There is a small lake in the middle of the park with a clean swimming area. The campground is a convenient location to catch a ride on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic RR through the National Park.
