Camp Sabroske is a 501 c 3 non-profit Christian camp open to the public on a non-denominational basis. It sits on 112 rural acres of natural beauty and offers boating activities and entrance ramps to prime areas for boating on Lake Erie. The camp is very near the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, Crane Creek State Park, Magee Marsh State Reservation and miles and miles of Great Lakes shoreline. They provide very reasonable rates for rental of cabins and RV and tent sites. Also available are a lodge with a fully equipped kitchen and large meeting room, a shelter house with electricity, an in-ground pool and a pond for boating of non-motorized craft and swimming. The camp focuses on Christian activities and values and has an outdoor chapel available for scheduled worship services and other religious events. They participate in the Biggest Week of American Birding and are just ten miles down the road toward Port Clinton from the famous Camp Perry, home of the National Rifle and Pistol Matches each summer. Donations to the mission, conservation initiatives and events sponsored by Camp Sabroske may be sent to Treas., Friends of Camp Sabroske Inc, 4405 N Toussaint North Rd., Oak Harbor Ohio 43449.
