This campground is a great place to stay near Columbus, OH. It opened in June 2019 and has 18 gravel padded sites, with lots of space and 50/30/20A electric. There is also a nice swimming pool at the south end of the village park. The park is well maintained and has a variety of activities, including a playground, disc golf course, basketball court, baseball field, and a short level hiking trail. There are also picnic tables, fire pits, and WiFi from some sites. The bathrooms and showers have been recently remodeled and are very clean. The sites are a mix of gravel and grass, but can be muddy and uneven in wet weather. The park is open April 1-Oct. 31st and can get busy on the weekends, so it is recommended to make reservations. There is a centrally located dumping station and a weekly honey wagon service for $30. There is also a nice tree cover, but it can make it difficult to get satellite TV. Jan and Tonys Pizza delivers here, and theres a nice little bowling alley just down state road 42, next to the Dutch Amish restaurant, Der Dutchman. Unfortunately, the restroom is currently closed for repairs.
