This campground is located in the Lake Erie Island region, close to Cedar Point and other activities. The pond is nice and the beach has a DJ, making it a fun spot for kids. The bathrooms are not clean and the only privacy is a curtain on the toilet stalls. The grass is high and several seasonal sites are unkempt. The campground offers 30amp service, water, and no sewer, no TV, and no shade for $32 a night. Seasonal folks are friendly but get testy when you have to drive on their site. Gray water is allowed to drain at site, but black tank must be pumped out or driven to the on-site RV dump. The campground is also the end of the runway of the local airport, so you will hear small aircraft taking off and landing throughout the day. It is a noisy campground with lots of children and dogs, and nearby (busy) train tracks. The campground is OK if you want to stay in your unit and do nothing, otherwise it is boring and dull and showing signs of being decrepit.
