GenieSummary

Camp Sandusky is an older campground located close to Cedar Point and other attractions. It features a variety of amenities for kids, such as a pool, bunnies to feed, a park, and pedal cars to rent. The campground is clean and well-kept, and the staff is friendly. There is easy access to the highway and water and electrical access. Unfortunately, one of the pools looks terrible and there is a highway right across the tree line that can be noisy in the morning. Tent camping is in a separate area and there is no option to select specific sites. There is an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast for $5, but the gravel pull-through sites can be tight and unlevel. There is no satellite TV or cable access in the area. The campground also offers a Karaoke night in the nearby pavilion.

From The Campground

Camp Sandusky has offered great camping experiences for visitors to Cedar Point, Put-In-Bay, Kelley’s Island, and Sandusky, Ohio for over 20 years. Our campground is located just 6 miles from Cedar Point! We offer several ways to stay, including our affordable Amish-built cabins. Or, bring your RV or tent and enjoy our level shady sites, and evenings around the campfire. You can access our wireless internet service from anywhere on the campground. Nearly all of our sites are shaded by mature trees, but you can still bask in the sun around our heated swimming pool. All sites (excluding primitive tents) have a picnic table and fire ring. There are shared charcoal grills located throughout the campground.
