GenieSummary

Camp Sandusky located in Ohio is a great option for campers looking to enjoy the nearby Cedar Point Park. The campground features clean facilities, water, and electrical access, and the roads are well-kept. Theres an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast for $5 available and the staff is friendly. However, the campground is located next to a highway, so campers should be prepared for some noise. One of the two pools needs maintenance, and broken-down cars and buses are visible throughout the campground. The sites are not well-groomed and some amenities, like the playground, need attention. Overall, Camp Sandusky is a decent option for those looking to stay near Cedar Point Park.

From The Campground

Camp Sandusky has offered great camping experiences for visitors to Cedar Point, Put-In-Bay, Kelley’s Island, and Sandusky, Ohio for over 20 years. Our campground is located just 6 miles from Cedar Point! We offer several ways to stay, including our affordable Amish-built cabins. Or, bring your RV or tent and enjoy our level shady sites, and evenings around the campfire. You can access our wireless internet service from anywhere on the campground. Nearly all of our sites are shaded by mature trees, but you can still bask in the sun around our heated swimming pool. All sites (excluding primitive tents) have a picnic table and fire ring. There are shared charcoal grills located throughout the campground.
