Buck Creek in Springfield, OH is a busy campground with many sites decorated for Halloween in the fall. Most sites are a little short, but sites #10-16 have good views of the lake. There are nice hiking trails that are well-maintained and the shower house is clean. The campground office sells ice and firewood and has most common supplies. The lake is very large with a nice marina and restaurant. There are also some trails to hike and kayaking opportunities. The check-in process is unique in that there is not a normal check-in station. You must reserve your site in advance and then go directly to your site. The camp store has most supplies and there is a water fill up station one site down from site #6 which is a big, spacious site with good power and some shade. Overall, Buck Creek is a great little campground to spend your weekend camping in Clark County, Ohio.
