What others are saying about this campground
The primitive sites have firepits, as do some of the camper spots, and you can buy a wagon load of fire wood for $5. Lily of the Valley Campground is a small, family friendly campground located near Geneva, Ohio. It offers spots for campers and tents, with primitive sites both with and without electricity. There is a pond where campers can go fishing and the nearby Thompson Ledges Park is a lovely place that few people know to appreciate. The campground is run by a live on site manager who is friendly and accommodating, and works hard to keep the park running. Unfortunately, the park is in a state of disrepair, with many old dilapidated trailers, campers, machinery and junk scattered around the grounds. The roads are partially gravel covered and are uneven and full of potholes, and none of the underground waterlines have been repaired. The WiFi provided by a private company was good, but was shutdown without any notice to the campers. There is a dump station, but the road to get to it is very bad. The water is not potable, and the playground is not safe. Despite all this, the campground is still adequate for overnight camping and the staff are always willing to help with any issues or concerns.
