What others are saying about this campground
Van Buren State Park is a great place to get away from it all. Located just off I-75, this park offers plenty of trails and a pond for outdoor activities. There are a few places to car camp or RV camp nearby, and the campground is small but well maintained. The sites are flat and shaded with electric hookups, fire rings, and a playground. Unfortunately, there are no showers or flush toilets, but there are clean and sturdy pit toilets with centralized well water. There is also an equestrian area with awesome paddocks. The trail system is extensive and enjoyable for walking or riding. Be sure to look at a map to find the campground, as it is not located at the park address. There is a dump station near the maintenance building at the main park area. Van Buren State Park is a great place to enjoy nature and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
