This small campground is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. Located along the north side of the fairgrounds, it is easily accessible from US 127 and US 30. The campground offers 20 sites, all on gravel, with electric and water hookups. Most sites also have sewer connections, and there is a dump station for overflow. Cell phone and satellite reception are both good, and there are several over the air TV stations. Unfortunately, there is no wifi or cable TV. The rate for this campground is $30/night, cash or check only, and there is an emergency contact number provided in case of full occupancy. The campground is relatively quiet, with no train or truck noise from the highway. There is a Wal Mart Superstore located 3 miles away, and you can watch horses work out on the track. The campground is getting some work done, but needs a lot of updating. The camp host is an older lady who is friendly and competent.
