What others are saying
This campground is a great place for RVers and campers of all experience levels. It has pull-thru sites with gravel, a laundry facility, and firewood for sale. It also has a propane refill station and a limited supply of food and drinks. There is no restroom or shower available, but there is a Dollar General and a small gas station nearby. The park has improved significantly since 2005, but there are still more permanent sites than before. Dust can be a problem on the top level, but the lower level sites are shaded and more pleasant. There is also an open access wireless internet port, though it is not supplied by the campground. The cost for a night is $40.00.

Lazy Village Campground & RV Park is a family-oriented campground located near the hills of the beautiful Shawnee State Forest in Portsmouth, Ohio. The campground is in close proximity to beautiful hiking/backpacking trails and the boat marina on the Ohio River. Lazy Village resides at the former site of the old Portsmouth Speedway which was open to racing from 1952 to 1962. The signature oval track is still part of the property and circles around the majority of our seasonal camp sites. Today, it serves as a great golf cart route and bike loop for your kids!
