Fam-Camp is a great place to stay if youre visiting the National Air Force Museum, Wright Brothers Aviation Heritage sites, or any other touristy places in the area. Its a medium-sized campground with 54 spaces, all with 30/50 amp and water hookups, 40 of them with full hookups. The campground has concrete pads, paved roads, and well-kept grassy areas between the sites. Its big rig accessible and has a good dump station on-site. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the America the Beautiful Senior Pass discounts make it a great bargain at $110 a week. The only issue is that the showers are in disrepair (but still work) and there is only 1 restroom stall which can lead to long lines. The campground is surprisingly quiet for an active duty air force base and the sense of security is unparalleled. The only downside is the long drive to get to the gate and the C-141s that dont abide by quiet hours.
