National Road Campground in Zanesville, OH is a nice place for an overnight stop or for a longer stay. It is a family-oriented campground that is easily accessible from the interstate after a sharp turn off the main road. The campground has a cute lake where you can fish without a license since it is private property. There is also a nice playground for kids as well as a splash pad. The park is clean and comfortable with plenty of things to do, such as basketball, fishing, and biking. The laundry facilities are coin-operated and have new and very clean machines. The camp spots are mostly back in, with a few pull-throughs. Overall, it is a great family park with attention to detail and friendly owners who maintain the property.

National Road Campground is a hidden gem in Muskingum county, located less than 1 mile off I-70 and within 2 miles of The City of Zanesville. The campground offers a calm relaxing atmosphere with 2 beautiful stocked ponds. Multiple different venues are booked throughout the season. The facility offers full hook-up and cabin rentals. The campground does not allow swimming and asks that you do not enter the ponds as they are stocked for fishing.
