Highway 9 Landing is a great place to camp, situated right on Oklahomas biggest lake. During the off season, the campground is quiet and peaceful, with only the sounds of the lake, birds, and the roadway across the lake. The campground is mostly geared towards RV and van camping, however there are some sites with good flat spots for tents. There are 65 sites with electric, 11 without, and some pull-thrus. There is also a marina, boat ramp, dump station, day use area with picnic area, playground, flush toilets, showers, swimming, grills with fire rings, picnic tables, and drinking water. Gates open at 6am and close at 10pm, and there is a 14-day stay limit within a 30-day period. The playground is located right next to the water with a toilet nearby. Sunsets are amazing and there is no need to move firewood or set off fireworks.
