McGee Creek State Park in Atoka, OK is a well-maintained park with paved roads that is easy to navigate. All campsites have concrete pads, picnic tables, and grills. The sites are also spacious and well numbered, making it easy to back up your RV. Verizon cell service is limited, with only two bars in certain areas, but there are plenty of places to walk your dogs and get some exercise. Reservations can easily be made online. The park offers a beautiful view of the lake and plenty of space for camping and fishing. Some reviewers noted that there was a litter problem in the park, and the dumpsters were a few miles away from the campground. Additionally, there was only one hiking trail available without driving almost 20 miles to the McGee Creek Natural Scenic Recreation Area. However, overall, it is a peaceful and relaxing spot for a camping trip.
