What others are saying about this campground
We are planning on going back when the weather cools. Osage Hills State Park is a tranquil campground tucked away in the rolling hills and tall grass prairies of NE Oklahoma. It offers 20 fully-outfitted RV campsites, 8 rustic cabins, and over a dozen designated tent-camping sites, as well as a swimming pool, ball field, tennis courts, and an abundance of heavy concrete picnic tables. Wildlife is abundant throughout the park, and fishermen will enjoy the parks waterfronts, where plentiful bass, perch, crappie, and catfish can be had. Early-mid fall is the best time to visit, as the foliage can be truly brilliant and breathtaking. The park also offers a variety of amenities such as a day area for picnics, a nice playground, trails, tennis courts, and a baseball field. The RV sites have water, electric, fire ring, and picnic table, and the cabins and shelters are built from natural sand colored stone and all have fireplaces. It is not uncommon to have deer, wild turkey, raccoons, and other wildlife in the park. The park is also close to local attractions such as Woolaroc, Frank Phillips Mansion, The Pioneer Woman, The Dewey Hotel Museum, Tom Mix Museum, and Kiddie Park. Osage Hills State Park is a great place for families that are camping with younger children or trying it out for the first time.
