What others are saying about this campground
The sites were level and had full hookups, but the downside was that the sites were small and a bit close to each other. Foss State Park is a large and serene campground located off of I-40 in Oklahoma. The park offers a variety of amenities, including a swim beach, open fields for sport games, a playground, frisbee golf course, and a small herd of bison behind the visitor center that you can watch come in to feed daily. There are plenty of places to picnic, camp for the night or stay a couple weeks. The RV sites have great bath houses with toilets, a paved parking lot, and coin operated showers. The park is huge and offers many different camping options, including sites with full hookups, quiet campgrounds, and lakeside sites with FHU. There are also many hiking trails around the lake, a heart healthy trail off of Cottonwood, and a marina with a restaurant (open in the summer). The park is well maintained and the campgrounds are level, with trees providing shade and a nice breeze coming off the lake. The bathrooms and showers are clean, although they can be a bit dated. There is also a Route 66 museum nearby. The only downsides are that the sites can be a bit small and close to each other, and there is no Wi-Fi.
