Turkey Flat Campground at Arrowhead State Park is a beautiful campground situated on the shore of Lake Eufaula. The grounds are well maintained with large grass areas, mowed lawns, and plenty of huge trees providing partial shade. The sites are gravel and mostly level, with some having concrete pads, benches, water and electrical hookups. Many of the sites have views of the lake and all have a picnic table, fire ring, bar-b-q pit, and lantern hanger. There is a dump station located about a mile from the campground, and a playground and bathhouse nearby. The restrooms and showers are in need of remodeling, but the park ranger has recently created a path to the lake and tilled a nice area for a beach. Firewood is not available for purchase, but can be found in unused sites. The campground is perfect for fishing, hiking, boating, and horseback riding, and the staff is very helpful.

Arrowhead State Park is a 2,200-acre park located in southeastern Oklahoma near Lake Eufaula, the largest man-made lake in Oklahoma. The park offers a variety of water sports, including water skiing and wakeboarding, as well as fishing for catfish, crappie, and sand bass. Visitors can hike on two trails, the Outlaw Nature Trail and the Arrowhead Hiking Trail, and may spot deer, wild turkeys, and rabbits. The park also features an 18-hole golf course, RV and tent camping sites, equestrian camping, picnic pavilions, and a playground. The park is open 24/7, and the park office is open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekends.
