The American Legion RV Park is a small, basic campground located on the grounds of the American Legion just minutes from downtown Claremore and the Expo Center. It is a great spot for an overnight stay while traveling on I-44 north of Tulsa or attending events at the university. The park has pull-through sites with utility pedestals located between two RVs, BBQ grills, picnic tables, showers, laundry service, handicap accessible playground, and access to the Expo rec center. The park is quiet at night and though there are a lot of trains that run through Claremore day and night, they are not a problem. However, the sites are close together and it can be very full on weekends if there are any events going on at the Expo Center. Reservations are not accepted, so it is best to call before arriving.
