From The Campground

Waurika Lake is located in Jefferson, Cotton and Stephens Counties in Oklahoma. The lake offers extensive opportunities for outdoor recreation including fishing, hunting, boating, and skiing. The lake provides flood control, irrigation, water supply, water quality, fish and wildlife, recreation and other conservation needs of the public. There are six recreation areas located around the lake that include facilities such as boat launching ramps, campgrounds, sanitary facilities, picnic tables and shelters. The lake is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and offers discounts for age and disability. There are over 10 recreation areas at Waurika Lake.
