The shoreline of the lake is not very appealing, as it is mucky and grassy. The park is a boaters paradise because it has a nearby boat dock. The park offers electric and water connections, and some sites also have sewer connections. The campsite spaces are oddly spaced and may lack clear delineations. The roadways are rutted and may need some improvement. The park needs some maintenance, but it is still an affordable and decent place to stay, particularly during the quiet periods from November to March.
