What others are saying
This campground is located on the Grand Lake O the Cherokees, just a couple of miles from the city of Grove. It is surrounded by mature trees, providing plenty of shade, and offers full hookup campsites that are level and on the main part of the campground. The cement picnic tables are in rough shape, but usable, and the shower houses are in need of repair. There are no hiking trails on the campground itself, but it is conveniently located near stores, including a Walmart Super Center. The roads at the front of the campground are a bit confusing, and the dump site is narrow and awkward to access. There are 50 amp sites available, but some are not suitable for big rigs, and there is no sewer hookup. The park is clean and well maintained, and the pool and playground are nice. The restrooms are adequate and clean, but could use some updating. There is a fishing dock and the lake is great for fishing, but you need a boat to access it. The park is patrolled by city and state police day and night, making it a safe and quiet place to stay.
