From The Campground
Skiatook Lake is a beautiful lake located about 20 miles northwest of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The lake is surrounded by gentle rolling hills of Blackjack and Post Oak interspersed with Tall Grass Prairie. The meandering shoreline is accentuated by steep picturesque bluffs which offer spectacular views for the recreation user. Boating, hiking, swimming, camping, picnicking as well as hunting and fishing are all popular activities at the lake. Skiatook Lake offers many hours of enjoyment for the visitor with its plentiful largemouth bass, black and white crappie, channel catfish, and several species of sunfish. The lake has 11 recreation areas, including Black Dog Park, Bull Creek Peninsula, Crosstimbers Marina, Crystal Bay Marina, Hominy Landing, Osage Park, Overlook, Quapaw Park, Skiatook Point, Tall Chief Cove, and Twin Points. The recreation areas offer various amenities such as camping, fishing, picnic areas, swimming, and trails for hiking, biking, and equestrian use. The lake also offers an Age & Disability Discount Passes.
