Shady Oaks RV Park is located 5 miles East of Hugo, Oklahoma directly on Highway 70. The park is located across from one of Oklahoma's premier fishing and recreational lakes, Hugo Lake. The lake is also surrounded by over 4000 acres of prime Public Hunting land. The lake's spillway and dam is less than 1 mile away, where fish of all types and sizes are pulled out on a regular basis by fishermen of all ages. The park offers RV sites, cabins, a lodge, and a lakeside bar & grill. Local attractions include Elephant's Endangered Ark Foundation, Frisco Depot, Blue Grass Festival, PRCA Rodeo & Mt. Olive Cemetery - final resting place for Rodeo greats such as Freckles Brown and Lane Frost. Grant Choctaw Casino is only a short 10 minute drive away, offering lots of gaming, dining, and weekly live entertainment. See your favorite music artist throughout the year at the Choctaw Event Center. Love History? 10 minutes east is Fort Towson, which served for a time as headquarters for Confederate forces operating in Indian Territory during the Civil War.
