Buncombe Creek is a secluded and peaceful campground located on the Oklahoma side of Lake Texoma. All of the sites are heavily wooded and provide plenty of shade, with large gravel pads and picnic tables and fire rings. There are no sewer hookups but there is a dump station and basic showers. Some sites have a long water run, so an extra hose is recommended. There is a short hiking trail and group picnic pavilion. The nearby casino and Madill, Oklahoma, which is about 15 miles away, provide groceries, restaurants, and a Walmart. The park only offers 30 amp power, but the electric and water hookups are close to the trailer. The waterfront sites are elevated above the lake with great views, but the water connections are far from the parking spot for trailers.
