Lake Texoma in Kingston, OK is a large and mostly quiet campground that underwent renovations and improvements, which includes brand new bathrooms and showers located near the entrance. The campground offers great power and sewage infrastructure but has low and cloudy water pressure that is still usable with filtration. The camp host is friendly and helpful and big rigs can easily get in and out of the campground. During peak season, the campground can get very busy, especially the day use areas, but its mostly quiet during off-seasons. While the sites are close to each other, some have shades, while others are in open sun, with all having a nice concrete picnic table. The area has a new casino and an established golf course across the highway. Rentals for boat and water sports equipment are available on site. Food trucks are also available on weekends during peak seasons. Online reservation is recommended since the reservation system only allows a maximum of two weeks at a time.

Lake Texoma State Park is a year-round campground located on Oklahoma's second-largest lake. The park offers a variety of activities including fishing, boating, horseback riding, swimming, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The campground features RV and tent sites with full hook-ups, as well as an open grass area for rallies. The park also has equestrian trails and primitive sites for overnight stays. The privately operated Catfish Bay Marina offers a full-service marina with a fuel dock and striper guide fishing services. The park highly recommends these fishing guides, as they all have years of experience helping visitors catch fish. These guide services are available year-round.
