This campground is the perfect spot for a peaceful, quiet getaway. Located near Medicine Park and the Wichita Wildlife Refuge, the campground offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The sites are mostly made up of long-term stayers, and the park is well-maintained and clean. Unfortunately, the park is not suitable for large motorhomes, and there are no restrooms or showers. The sewer hook-up is also at the high end of the site, making it difficult to dump. However, the park offers a beautiful view of Lake Lawtonka and Mount Scott, and a spectacular 4th of July show. The pool is almost complete, and the park is working on adding WiFi and cable TV. The people running the park are very helpful and accommodating. Reservations are recommended, as the park is usually full during the summer months.
