This campground is perfect for families with young children, offering a clean and well-maintained environment with plenty of activities for kids. It was just opened in 2018 and is a small campground, making it not too busy or loud. Every hour during the day, a train comes through to pick up campers and take them to the nearby amusement park, Little Americka. The spaces are spacious, level, and have full hookups. The campground also has a swimming pond, beach, and bouncy things for kids to play on. Although the grass between the spaces can become muddy after rain, the campground is kept clean and tidy by friendly staff. There is also a camp store that is well stocked. The price is a bit high for grown ups looking for a quiet place for a few nights, but it is worth it for families with young children who will make use of the amenities.

Whistle Stop Campground offers a unique camping experience with adjacent Little Amerricka amusement park. Guests can ride the rails back to the campground and enjoy amenities such as a swim lagoon, jumping pillow, Space Ball, and more. Please note that the water toys in the lagoon are currently unavailable due to damages sustained over the winter.
