This campground is a no-frills, primitive stop-over located about 15 miles north of McAlester, Oklahoma. It has water and electric hook ups, but the bathrooms are extremely primitive. The park is mainly filled with permanent or seasonal RVs, but there are a few pull-through sites available for overnight campers. The host was very friendly and helpful upon arrival, and the site had full hook-ups. The campground is easy to get to from highway 75/69. It is located up a steep hill on a narrow road, and the only sight of life was a pit bull dog behind a glass door with a sign, Beware of Dog. It is a great stay for overnight, especially for the price, and would be a good option if passing through the area. However, the roads are narrow and dirt and rock, and the last three rows of sites are quite dirty with a lot of garbage. It also doesnt seem very friendly, so it may be best to avoid if possible.

Open year-round, this campground features pull-thru and back-in sites with full hookups including water, sewer and 30 or 50 amp electric service. Additional amenities at Rock Creek Road RV Campground include a storm shelter, tent area and an on-site laundry mat. Guests will enjoy lots of trees in this pet friendly, family oriented campground. Access to Lake Eufaula is just a few miles away. Daily, weekly, monthly and storage rates are available.
