This campground is situated in a seedy neighborhood, behind an old 1970s single story roadside hotel. The campground is on a small hillside, with fairly level asphalt sites, although they are rather short. There is no tree shade, but there is a concrete table and benches for family gatherings. The campground is close to a freight train route and a livestock yard, but the noise is not too disturbing. The smell of the area is a combination of a sewer treatment plant and a fresh dog gift left by a former resident. The road leading to the campground is gravel and deeply rutted, so it is best to arrive before dark. The campground is ok for overnight stays and is cleaner than in prior years. The pull-through sites are a joke, with extreme ruts and unlevel surfaces.
