What others are saying
Lake Thunderbird in Norman, OK is a lovely park with plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy nature. The Hog Creek campground offers beautiful lake views, even though the water and electric hookups may require an extension and splitter for access. While there is no sewer at this campground, the dump station on the way out is convenient. The Hickory Hill Loop provides new bathrooms with push button showers, but those looking for a hot shower may be disappointed. The roads inside the campground may be rough and narrow, but they are passable. Visitors can enjoy seeing wildlife on every visit. Despite being a bit out of the way, the parks location makes for a quiet and peaceful stay. Those bringing their furry friends will appreciate that there are no breed restrictions. However, the internet may be spotty at times.
