The campground is located in a beautiful area with rolling hills and lots of trees. The facilities are fairly modern and there is a playground for the kids. The lake is great for fishing and swimming and there is a short nature trail with cascading falls. The campground is family friendly and would be even better in the fall when the leaves turn. The bathrooms are dated but functional and there is a 50% discount for camping if you have a golden age card or America the Beautiful pass.
