This campground is a great place to stay for a peaceful, quiet getaway. Located right on the Arkansas River, it offers beautiful views and plenty of nearby amenities, including a Walmart and restaurants in the nearby town of Sand Springs. The sites are large and level, and most are long enough to accommodate big rigs. The park is well maintained and recently upgraded, with a walking/fitness trail, basketball court, and pavilions. There are 20 sites in total, 17 with 50 amp water and electricity, and 11 with full hookups. There is no sewer hookup for the sites backing up to the river, but there is plenty of water and electricity. The nearby Keystone Dam will sound off horns to denote water level changes, but its not loud enough to be heard at night. There is also clear enough for Starlink and Dish Network satellite domes. The camp host will come to you to check you off when you arrive. It is a great place for an overnight stay, with easy access to the freeway and close proximity to the nearby town.
