This campground is a great place to go for a peaceful and quiet camping experience. It has a small lake with great fishing and swimming, and is currently flooded in parts due to the rain. The campground has both concrete and asphalt pads that are very level, as well as picnic tables, grills, and fire rings. The bathrooms and showers are very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is no store nearby, so make sure to bring everything you need. Cell service is ok for ATT, but Wi-Fi is hard to pick up with a hot spot. Big rigs have no problem navigating the narrow roads. The dam is being worked on, so the water level is twelve feet below. There are very few campers on the loop, making it a great place for a quiet getaway.
