The park offers a classic playground that children would enjoy. There are hummingbirds, deer, and some geese. The mornings are very peaceful and there were some windy days. It is a short six-mile drive to Waurika, making it easy to restock needed supplies, and the city of Duncan is only 17 miles away with many more options. The park has a limit of 14-day stay, but the staff suggested that staying longer is possible by moving around from site to site. The TravlFi works great for internet needs, providing a strong signal without any loss of service. Overall, Chisholm Trail Ridge is a gem that any camping enthusiast will love.
