Waurika Lake COE Park is a large campground located on the shores of Waurika Lake. It offers close to 200 sites, many of which are pull-through sites with a covered shelter, raised grill, picnic table, and food prep table. The campground is spacious and sites are well spaced out, though there are very few trees and the area is flat with very little scenery. The bathrooms need to be cleaned more frequently but are plentiful. The park is popular and always has sites available, even on holiday weekends. The park also offers OTA TV, ATT and T-Mobile, and Walmart is about 20 miles away. The campground is great for basic camping, but visitors should be aware that the wind can be strong and there is very little shade. There are also locals who park their boats and trailers in the few 50 amp sites, and some visitors have been known to park in the road, making it difficult to get around.
