Please be advised of our Canada Day 2026 celebration schedule:As Canada Day falls midweek in 2026, the official Canada Day Long Weekend will be celebrated from Thursday, July 2nd, to Sunday, July 5th.We will offer additional holiday activities on Wednesday, July 1st, to mark Canada Day itself; however, the main events and festivities will take place from Thursday through Saturday.-- The Cardinal / Ottawa South KOA is family camping at its best. Located just an hour from Ottawa and close to the 1000 Islands region, this is the ultimate destination for eastern Ontario camping. Spend your weekends or entire vacations on our campground and enjoy a wide variety of amenities, including our splash pad, pool, pirate ship playground, Big Bouncer and mini putt. The kids will enjoy our themed weekend activities, or take the family on a day trip to explore Ottawa or the St. Lawrence river area. We offer themed activities each weekend, as well as activities during the week in July and August. Our sites range from big-rig friendly 50 amp patio sites to large treed 30 amp back in sites, and our convenient deluxe cabins and lodges. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, water source, and electricity.Get away from the noise of the highway and bustle of the city in our beautiful, quiet, rural location. Nightly quiet hours between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM provide a secure and relaxing experience for our guests.NOTE: WE DO NOT HAVE SEWERS ON OUR SITES. WE HAVE A DUMPING STATION OR THE HONEY WAGON CAN COME TO YOUR SITE TO PUMP OUT YOUR RV FOR A FEE OF $20.00 PER DUMP. THE HONEY WAGON IS NOT AVAILABLE DURING MEAL TIMES OR ON SUNDAY MORNINGS WHEN WE USE IT FOR DEPARTING GUESTS.
