Howard Prairie Lake Campground is a quiet family campground located in southern Oregon, at about 4000 feet elevation. It offers a variety of activities, including fishing, water skiing, boating, hiking, biking, and more. There is a camp store with famous chocolate vanilla soft serve cones, as well as a restaurant and marina by the boat dock. The campground has spacious campsites with electric, full hookups and hot showers, as well as clean restroom facilities. The lake is a great spot for fishing and water sports, although it can be a bit muddy and the water level can be low. There are also lots of wildlife, including deer, ducks, geese and bald eagles. The park is open from April 15 to October 15 each year, and its a great spot for a relaxing RV camping trip.

Howard Prairie Lake Resort is a beautiful campground located in Central Point, Oregon. The campground offers 112 basic campsites, 80 water/electric campsites, and 51 water/electric/sewer campsites. The amenities include restrooms, a trailer dump station, a boat ramp, boat docks, fish cleaners, hiking trails, picnic tables, and an accessible fishing jetty. The campground also has a store and restaurant. The park fees are $25.00/night for no hookups, $33.00/night for water/electric, and $40.00/night for water/electric/sewer. The maximum stay limit at all Jackson County Parks is 14 days out of any 30-day period. Additional vehicles are $6.00/night. The reservation fee is $8.00/per site (online) and $10.00/per site (by phone). Showers are now free. Firewood is $6.00/bundle and ice is $3.50/bag. The marina fees for boat rentals/moorage/etc. are closed due to low water. The campground also offers slip/buoy moorage and dry moorage. The daily fishing license is $23.00 (good for 1 day) and bait (worms) is $3.00/dozen.
