What others are saying about this campground
Tumalo State Park is an ideal camping destination for those looking for a peaceful getaway close to Bend, OR. The park offers a variety of sites for tents, RVs, and other campers, as well as a playground and scenic path along the Deschutes River. The campground is well-maintained and offers full hookups minus cable, cedar service buildings, and plenty of juniper and interesting rock formations. While the park is close to Bend, it is far enough away to maintain the camping experience. There is road noise from Hwy 20, but it is not overly loud. The only downside is that there is no dump station, so campers not in full hookup sites will need to pack out their waste. During the Discovery Season, Oregon State Parks offers great deals, making this campground a great option for those looking for an economical stay.
