This campground is the perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of nature. Located a block away from the highway, you can enjoy the peaceful sound of the rushing river and watch rafts full of adventurers float by. The campground is well-kept and the facilities, although old, are spotless and in good order. The managers are a retired couple who are incredibly friendly and accommodating. There is a nice living room with movies, big screen TV and a jigsaw puzzle table. There are also lots of places outside the campground to explore and hike around. The site #16 is especially great, as it is RIVERFRONT. Highly recommended for the gorgeous McKenzie River and surrounding natural, heavily forested beauty.
