Frissell Crossing Campground is a serene retreat located on the South Fork of the McKenzie River in Willamette National Forest. The campground offers 12 beautiful and quiet sites surrounded by Douglas fir, rhododendron, and vine maple. Amenities include vaulted toilets, fire rings, picnic tables, garbage collection, and hand-pumped drinking water. Opportunities abound in this beautiful forest setting for hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, and nature viewing. The Three Sisters Wilderness, Box Canyon Trail, Mink Lake Basin Trail, Box Canyon Horse Camp, Terwilliger Hot Springs, and Cougar Reservoir are some of the many assets to this area.
