Port of Brookings offers an opportunity to be close to shops, restaurants and the marina and ocean. The sites can be narrow and the Wi-Fi can be unreliable, but the staff are friendly and the park is clean and well maintained. It is not ideal for children or pets, as there is no dedicated dog park and bicycles and skateboards cannot be ridden on the roads. The large pull through sites offer a glimpse of the ocean and good utilities and laundry. Portside RV is a good choice for local tourism or passing through, with plenty of amenities and friendly staff. The spot on the end with a distant view of the ocean is recommended. The prices are reasonable and there are several restaurants within walking distance. It is a quiet and safe place, but the lack of local channels and no pool or Jacuzzi may not suit everyone.
