GenieSummary

This RV park has a great location near the beach with friendly and helpful staff. The sites vary in size, some with decks, but they are all quite hilly, making maneuvering a larger vehicle tricky. Verizon phone service is spotty, but the WiFi is available and strong. The restrooms and showers need updating, but overall the park is well-maintained and pleasant. This RV park offers a great location close to the beach, friendly and helpful staff, and a variety of sites with decks. Although navigating the hilly terrain is difficult for larger vehicles, Verizon phone service is spotty but the WiFi is strong. The restrooms and showers could use updating, but overall the park is well-maintained and pleasant. This RV park, located near the beach, has been around for ten years and has recently become mostly park models and run down RVs. The sites are not level, and there are many trees making it difficult to back in, especially in larger vehicles. The reception is poor and the beach trail is impassable due to high water. The staff is friendly and helpful and the WiFi is available. The restaurant is closed, but the restrooms and showers need updating. The rate is reasonable and the park is well-maintained. This RV park offers a great location and pleasant experience, but may be difficult to navigate for larger vehicles.

From The Campground

Whaleshead is a collection of cozy cabins perched above the beautifully rugged Southern Oregon coastline. The area is renowned for some of the most spectacular hiking on the entire Oregon Coast, plus sea kayaking, horseback riding, river and ocean fishing and more. With Gold Beach a short drive north, and Brookings an even shorter drive south, you’re all set for great food, local breweries, fun shopping and strolling classic downtowns. Our cabins are comfortable with stocked kitchens, and our welcome lodge features an on-site restaurant so you don’t have to go anywhere once you get here. Each cabin is unique, with a hot tub here, a sunny deck there, many with epic ocean views. But they ALL share easy access to one of the most incredible beaches you’ve ever laid eyes on. So you can simply relax, reflect and recharge.
