From The Campground
Wickiup Campground is a beautiful campground located in Malheur National Forest. It is set amongst ponderosa pines along the beautiful Canyon Creek, making it the perfect place to relax in the shade during the summer months and listen to the creek flow past. The campground offers opportunities for picnicking, stream fishing, hiking, viewing wildlife, and hunting during the summer and fall months. During the winter, the entry to the campground makes a great starting point for snowmobile riders. There are 6 single sites and 1 group site available, all of which have extended picnic tables with compacted gravel and dirt path camping spaces. The campground is not reservable and fees are $6/night for single unit and $3/night for extra vehicle. Visitors should be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions and should pack it in/pack it out, taking home anything they bring with them into the forest, including all trash.
