GenieSummary

Broken Arrow Campground in Chemult, OR is a beautiful and heavily forested campground that is well maintained. It is a large campground with sites that are well spaced out and has plenty of parking. The bathrooms and showers are clean and well-kept. The campground also has tons of open sites, even during peak season. Firewood, tinder, and kindling are available around the campground, so theres no need to bring or buy any. It is conveniently located near Crater Lake National Park and Diamond Lake, where there are beautiful day use areas. However, during June and July, the mosquitoes can be very bothersome and the weather can be unpredictable. Wasps can also be an issue in August and September.

From The Campground

Broken Arrow Campground is a picturesque spot set back from the shores of Diamond Lake in lodgepole pine forest. It offers easy access to fishing, walking and biking trails, yet sees lighter use from anglers and paddlers during the summer months. The campground has 121 campsites (4 group campsites) with picnic tables and fire pits, drinking water, flush toilets, showers, garbage disposal, grey water waste sumps, and an RV dump station. It is a comfortable spot for families and groups, and interpretive programs are provided in the summer at the amphitheater at nearby Diamond Lake Campground.
