Site 3 is a partially shaded, back-in campground located in a state park. It is not suitable for big rigs, but is perfect for smaller motorhomes and trailers. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and rivers and lakes. The campground is clean and has plenty of trees and birds. There is a dog park and a concrete walkway for easy access to the motorhome. There is also a boat launch for great trout fishing. The sites are narrow with grass, dirt, and a piece of concrete that only covers part of the site. The owners are willing to trim branches from trees to make room for slides. There is also a cabin with four twin beds and a full kitchen and screened in porch. It is an easy drive to Crater Lake and Mt. The sewer hookup is elevated, making dumping more difficult than necessary, and the car must be parked across the road in a very dusty area. Despite this, the owners are friendly and the campground is clean and quiet at night.
