This small, family-run campground is tucked away in the woods and is a great base for visiting Crater Lake National Park. It is laid back from the highway, but still easily visible from 97. The campground offers 30 amp, full hookups on 14 camper sites, all of which are level, gravel and nicely spaced with trees. There are no amenities, such as a pool or spa, but the ambiance of the park is peaceful and lovely. Unfortunately, the electrical regulator shut off the electricity at least 20 times in a 12 hour period due to unstable voltage, which could easily ruin an AC unit or refrigerator. In addition, the park is not suitable for trailers larger than 25 feet, and the weeds need to be mowed around the restroom and showers. One of the mens showers was also being used to store cleaning items. Despite these issues, the park is a great option for those looking for a quiet, peaceful camping experience.
