What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located close to the beach and is surrounded by plenty of trees. It is a popular spot for ATV riders and can get quite noisy on weekends. There are courteous families who come often and large groups who can occupy single sites. If you want peace and quiet, pick a site away from the main beach. There are no threaded water spigots so bring a 1/2 inch I.D. poly hose with a male hose repair end attached to adapt to the water spigots. The flush toilets are out of commission due to a water supply main rupture and the porta-potties are filthy. The sites need to be cleaned up from dog poop and trash left behind. There is a quiet beach at the south end and the campground is big rig friendly. The sites are paved with a table and fire ring. There is no dump station and no cell phone service or internet. There are rules for decibel loudness and hours of ATV operations but they are not enforced. Fireworks are prohibited but not enforced either. If you have an RV and ATV, this is the place for you, but if you are looking for a quiet camping experience, this is not the place for you.
