This campground is a great place for a family getaway. It features four modern, connected hospitality buildings with reception and store, a heated indoor saltwater pool, both kids and adults lounges, and a workout room. The amenities include an indoor pool, general store with local products, laundry room, and pet washing station. There are also several nearby state parks with beautiful and accessible beach areas and an easy yet amazing hiking trail along the ocean. The campground has pull-in spots with generous sites and beautiful views right on the bay. There is a covered gathering space with kitchen, fireplace, and picnic tables, and an excellent paved level spot for connecting a toad. The roads are dusty gravel and being on the coast the wind blows constantly. The only negatives are the fact that there are more weeds than green grass, and that your credit card is charged for the entire stay at the time you book your reservation. There is no vegetation (just some sand mixed with sawdust), no store, no restaurant, no pool (but under construction), temporary office on wheels, and only a few fire pits they had to move around. There is also a 24 hour text line to get anything from the store delivered to your campsite. All these features make for a great family RV experience.
